Exciting News!!!!

We had a great Mothers Day this year. This is the basket that we gave both my mom and Brandon's. Inside was their Mothers Day gift plus a whole bunch of random items that somewhat all went together as well.

Yep you got it. I am going to be a mom too!!!!

It was fun to see our families open up the basket and when they finally got it they were super excited. We handed them a card once they guessed that said:

We found out I was prego at about 6 weeks. We wanted to wait to tell everyone till about 12 weeks. It was sooo hard to keep it secret. I have been so sick and tired, that I was sure someone would figure it out. Plus I am definitely getting a baby bump!! Well actually not so much a baby bump but I am starting to look chunky, I am in the awkward stage where it just looks like I have eaten way toooo many Twinkies and donuts!

Last week we went to our 12 week appt. It was fun to be able to hear our little peanuts heartbeat. It was 178 and strong, even though the little thing kept moving all over the place.

Brandon thinks its a boy and I think it is a girl. We are actually going to try and wait till the birth to see what it actually is. It is going be hard not to find out the sex, since all I want to do is buy stuff!!! But I have always said I didn't want to find out, so we are going to try and wait.

St George- Part 2

In St. George we went Mtn. Biking. We rode on Bear Claw Poppy which is in Bluffdale and on Sunday went into Hurricane to ride GooseBerry Messa, which is slick rock and alot like the trails in Moab.

Viva Las Vegas

So we finally made it on a vacation!! Brandon finished with finals on Wednesday so we decided that night to head down to Vegas and St. George for the weekend. It was a short trip, but it was sooo nice to actually get a way for a while. We only stayed one night in Vegas. We stayed at the MGM Grand and saw the show Ka, by Cirque du Soleil. It was so freakin amazing!!! The tickets were pricey but it was so worth it. Both Brandon and I absolutely loved it!!! We cant wait until we can go see another show by Cirque du Soleil. They are actually doing a traveling show here in Utah in August, that I am hoping we can get tickets to.

This was driving through N. Las Vegas. There was a whole bunch of hobos's. They were everywhere! It was sad to see them with the tents and blankets all lined up against the fence.

We went to the Buffet there, It was all you can eat Prime Rib and Crab legs. Brandon was in heaven. I of course was all over the desserts that they had. YUM YUM!!

Flying Tire

On Saturday we took our car in to get an oil change and our tires rotated. Later that day Brandon took me back to pick up my car, as I pulled out on State Street in Orem, my steering kinda felt funny and before I knew it I heard this horrible grinding loud terrifying noise and my car was incredibly hard to steer. I thought Oh-crap one of my tires just blew!!! So I was trying to pull my car over when I looked up and saw my tire flying!! It was bouncing across State Street and had crossed 5-lanes of traffic and cars were trying to dodge it. I finally got my car on the side of the road and a guy across the street picked up my tire for me and brought it over. Luckily Brandon was able to jack the car up and get my tire semi-back on. We luckily were able to get ahold of the tire place and they admitted fault. One of the "very smart" mechanics had forgotten to put the lug nuts on all of the way!! Hello- even I know that!!! I am just sooo glad that it wasnt worse and that my flying/bouncing tire didnt hit anyone. Well my car spent the day in the shop and is now all better. I think I need to sell it though as it is cursed, that car has had more things happen to it than any other car, and none of them have been my fault.

I was tagged by Paige! This is Brandon's B-day last year. Our good friends Jesse and Tina brought over some kind of pie and trick candles that were huge. When we lit them I thought the whole house was going to catch on fire!!

Since I have posted this pic before I tried to find a funny pic, instead I found this pic of Brandon's hand. This was a few years ago when Brandon tried to almost blow his fingers off!! He was working as an electrician and somehow the current went through his wedding ring and burned a big chunk of his hand. It was pretty nasty!!

MTN. Dew a potent diuretic!!

Well I am finding out that drinking a 44oz of Mtn. Dew while at work is not such a good idea. I picked one up on my way to work tonight since I was already dragging and knew I would need some major caffeine fixage to make it through my 13hr night shift. Well before I even made it here I needed to pee!! I think I have pee'd at least 12 times already!! O-well at least it is keeping me awake.
